When ordering an apple pancake how long does it take to cook?

We like to keep you waiting as little as possible therefore we always try to have apple pancakes cooking so that your waiting time is cut down to usually around 10 minutes. Occasionally we will run out of apple pancakes that have started cooking and therefore the average cooking time from scratch is around 25 minutes.

Do you take reservations?

We are more than happy to accommodate all customers, however we are sorry that we are unable to accept reservations during peak periods such as holidays and weekend mornings. For more information contact each individual location.

Do you have a private banquet room?

Our Lincolnshire location is the only location to have a private banquet room. Please check out our Banquet information page for MORE INFO.

Yes, we do accept carryout orders. Under each location is a downloadable version of our menu for that store to help with carryout decisions.

What kind of coffee does Walker Bros. serve?

We are proud to serve Superior Coffee’s Royal Kona Coffee. Our private blend ground coffee is available in convenient take home packaging.

Do you serve anything besides breakfast? 

Currently our Arlington Hts, Highland Park, Lake Zurich and Lincolnshire locations have an extended menu, which includes sandwiches and salads.

Walker Bros is part of The Original Pancake House franchise. Walker Bros. is only located in the Northern suburbs of Chicago, however The Original Pancake House has locations throughout the U.S. http://www.originalpancakehouse.com

If I am allergic to certain items, do you have common allergy information of your food items?

A member of management will be happy to discuss the ingredients used in the preparation of our recipes.  Peanut oil is used in preparation of the following menu items:  Buttermilk, Blueberry, Banana, Pecan, Bacon, Swedish, 49er's Flapjacks, Chocolate Chippies, Little Dollars, Wheat Germ, Buckwheat, Three Little Pigs in a Blanket, The Grand Treat and a side of pancakes.  Kids Menu items: $5 Chocolate chip, $5 Blueberry, Junior Plate and 3 Buttermilk Pancakes

How do I prepare the Frozen Apple Pancake?

Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees. Remove plastic and lid but leave in baking tin. Bake Apple Pancake in the tin for 50 to 60 minutes on middle rack until pancake rises and turns golden brown. We recommend letting the pancake cool for 5 minutes before serving. Baking times may vary. For best results do not microwave.
